The Tigers are down 3 games to 1 in the World Series. If their remarkable season is to continue, Detroit must go on to win tonight's showdown in St. Louis–no if's, and's or but's. It sounds like a rather dreary situation, but in reality the game plan is no different from Game 1, and that's to WIN. Teams don't go into the final contest planning to "win one, then lose a couple". The mental focus from the moment the post-season begins is on winning games. As Yoda would say, "Do or do not, there is no try". This is the message I hope to see the Tigers put on display tonight. They've done it before against the Cardinals, there's no reason it can't happen again!
