Yesterday was quite a day for broken bones on the field! The Yankees suffered doubly: a loss to the Red Sox in front of a hometown crowd and the loss of Hideki Matsui who broke his left wrist attempting to make a highlight reel play. Tough guy Aaron Rowand challenged the outfield wall at Citizens Bank Park, and while he made a spectacular catch saving 2 runs he also broke his nose. He's scheduled to have surgery today. The Phils won the game and should have Rowand back in the lineup long before Matsui makes his comeback.
